Have successfully completed multiple projects ranging from a project titled 'Real-time Digit-Recognition in Noisy Videos' utilizing computer vision algorithms to detect digits in noisy videos to a project titled 'Q-Learning Stock Market Trading Agent' utilizing reinforcement algorithm to come up with buy/sell signals on yesteryear stock market data, among various other projects. Currently working as a Forensic Structural Engineer with over 8 years of professional experience in various subdomains of the discipline. The potential for endless innovation and the plethora of unsolved problems in the CS/AI/ML domains inspired me to pivot my career toward computer science and its applications.
Ever since my first year in college, I realized the need to be savvy with technology. However, it was the 2020 holiday season, that I reached the tipping point, and decided to heavily invest my time into becoming a consummate CS major. The below milestones depict my arduous yet rewarding journey in making this dream a reality.
Started working on the Chess Intelligence project, an iOS application in the works.
Completed a 6-month Software Developer internship at Alien Attorney.
Completed a 5-month Data Analyst Fall internship at SanCons.
Completed my MS in CS with a 3.9 GPA from Georgia Tech within 1.5 years while working full-time as a Structural Engineer.
Attended the Inaugural OMSCS Conference at the Georgia Tech Campus in Atlanta.
Started my MS in CS at my Alma Mater. My second masters from Tech.
Finished foundational coursework in CS from Foothill College.
Enrolled in foundational coursework in CS from Foothill College.
Laid out my 4-year plan to go from zero to hero in CS.
I love all things nature, fitness, and traveling. As a certified SCUBA diver and an avid hiker, I love exploring the heights and depths of our world one dive/step at a time. I also love visiting new places and cultures. I have been to over 30 countries so far and counting. I also play soccer on a regular basis and am a great team-player on and off the field.
